Some more pictures.
Baby posting from mummy's tummy..now change to mummy n daddy posting!
Little baby Qing Yuan was born 9th May 2010, Sunday 7.20 pm. Which so happens to be Mothers Day and Mummy’s birthday.
Hi hi … going away with my parents, JY uncle & Michelle, grandma & grandpa to Guang Zhou – China for my first plane flight and overseas trip.
Mummy says she hungry at this hour but lazy to go out. So she went to the kitchen back in grandma’s house in Ipoh to find something to eat.
So we end up eating….
Instant mee hun.
Hi hi, it’s me again. Guess what I “told” mummy I wanted to eat for dinner.
Korean food at Daroae in Sri Hartamas. Nice and healthy food. Mummy just took a bit of bbq pork. We ate kimchi toufu rice mostly.
My parents had a dinner date with uncle wee yuen and aunty pei wan yi yi (my aunt yi yi mummy’s side). Mummy suggested dinner at Kun Thai near Jln Gasing. Surprise surprise.. see mummy’s dinner consist of spicy and sour stuff again.
Lemon grass steamed fish. The soup is spicy and sour.
Some kind of imported Thai vegetables with egg slices. The leaves are actually green in color not “black” as shown in the picture. Bad photography lightning from daddy’s PDA phone.
Green curry chicken.
Sweet tasting sago desert that mummy likes.
Mummy didn’t go for work today. So she rested at home and had time to prepare a nice japanese dinner. *yummy*
Fried chicken cutlets.
Yummy cold buckwheat noodles topped with egg slices, long beans, carrot slices. The noodles were very *crunchy*, mummy brought the noodles from her shop, I think it’s made from lotus roots or something. Can’t wait to try it for myself when I’m out of mummy’s tummy next time.
Miso soup with wakame slices.
Had lunch with my great-grandma, 5th granduncle, 5th grandaunt, cousin sister and parents. We had lunch at one of the Chinese restaurant in Genting Hotel. Here’s my lunch menu =P
Very filling lunch. Me and mummy is stuffed to the brim. *burpppp….*
After the short trip from Gohtong Jaya up to Genting Hotel, my parents went to meet up with their grandma in Genting Hotel’s casino. My parents grandma and 5th uncle took them for supper inside the casino. According to them the assam laksa is quite good.
Not bad assam laksa, but they could at least try to increase the quantity of fish slices being put in. Mummy has always been craving for sour and spicy food and seems to put the blame on me. :(
According to the conversations between mummy and daddy, before mummy conceived me, one of her favorite food has always been either laksa or tom yam soup.
My parents grandma invited them to go up Genting since there was an extra bed and only their grandma was taking the other bed. It’s a good escape from the city’s terrible air anyway. This is what I / mummy had at Gohtong Jaya.
Very nice weather to have luk luk. Price is reasonable. We had almost 10-15 sticks for only RM13+
Mummy had cravings for Loong Foong’s 3 cup chicken. So here we are. (Mummy, Daddy & Uncle JY). We had claypot taufu, vege soup, and 3 cup chicken.
Grandpa and grandma wanted to take daddy’s grandma (mother’s side) to try the newly opened dim sum behind grandpa’s petrol station. Since it was still raya holiday, the crowd that is at the dim sum place – Foh San was insane.
We almost needed to wait an hour before getting a place to sit.
They even has a Koi pond inside the restaurant.
This is my mummy on the phone.
This is daddy’s grandma. =)
Okay… on to the food.. yum
Forgot what is it called, has prawns and veges in it.
Fish skin dumpling or something
Chee cheung fun. I don’t get why they call it pig intestine noodle. Doesn’t taste like pig intestine anyway. :P
The pao that has a lor mai kai in it. Interesting.
Imperial siu mai.
Normal siu mai.
Fishballs. I likey.
Erm… vege dumpling?
and 2 claypots of porridge.
Mummy was obviously stuffed at the end of our brunch. Leaving me very satisfied..burp….hehe.
After a rather not filling dinner (bak kut teh only ribs), uncle malcolm, mummy and daddy went to try this roadside chee cheung fun that has been in operation for almost 30 years +. It’s located opposite Kimarie hair salon in SS2. The place opens from night time until 1 in the morning. Another reason we came here is because mummy has a craving for curry chee cheung fun.
This is what me and mummy ate. =)
As usual mummy finished work at around 8+ tonight. Daddy asked mummy did she crave for any particular food. Mummy said nothing in particular. Surprisingly daddy was the one that had cravings for cold soba at Sushi Tei – Tropicana City Mall. When we arrive there, we saw a huge crowd inside / waiting for tables. Daddy didn’t want mummy to wait for food so long, so when changed the venue to the taiwan shop which is located up stairs.
This is what my mummy ordered.
Braised duck rice. Overall quite a yummy dish.
Daddy found out from the Sunday papers that the new Singapore Jack Neo film “Where Got Ghost” is already showing in the cinemas. Apparently its more a comedy film than a horror flick. Daddy booked a twin seat for the show at Tropicana City Mall at 2.30pm.
Although there were some scary scenes, but overall i heard a lot of laughter in the cinema from my mummy’s tummy. Mummy rubs her tummy whenever there’s a scary scene to “comfort” me. =)
After watching a repeat of One Day Five Meals yesterday night, Mummy wanted to try this pan mee that is located in Paramount. Since it was a Sunday, and the shop was just showcased on Astro, obviously there were tons of people patronizing the place. We had to wait almost 30min+ for food to arrive.
This is what mummy ordered.
Mummy has cravings for porridge tonight. The place that comes up in daddy’s mind is a porridge stall in MidValley Gardens.
After the gynae checkup, daddy brought mummy to Damansara Heights behind Hock Lee’s for wan tan mee.
And coffee.
